Scrapbooking Border Building

Today, I’m counting my blessings and focusing on what I’m thankful for with Thanksgiving coming up next week. I love telling stories with photos and scrapbooking about my family, both past and present.

I’m building this sweet scrapbook border that will include a little photo inside the white oval center. This border begins with a 12″ long strip of the designer paper. It is reversible so the wood grain is on one side and the white olive branches on the other. I cut two and just flipped one over to stack them. I really enjoy building borders because you can stack coordinating papers and get so much dimension. There will be foam squares behind the oval to raise it up a little to add dimension there. Here is what I used for this one:

Creative Memories designer paper theme pack in Grateful, Petal Punch, Rich Brown Cardstock, Repositionable Tape Runner, large Oval from the Custom Cutting System with the green and red blades.

Enjoy your border building! The possibilities are endless!
